Project Details
Pinnacles water system was original to the development and the Board of Directors was becoming concerned was that an equipment failure could leave the development without water. The public community water system serves 150 living units.
Upgrades to the system included a new water system building, booster pumps, hydroneumatic storage, associated piping and controls. The use of variable frequency drive pumps allowed for a reduction in the required storage volume and meant the project could be constructed within the footprint of the original building. Enman Kesselring developed the design, acquired the State Water System Permit to Construct, and worked with Pinnacle to fund the project through the Drinking Water State Revolving Loan Fund.
Before and after photographs portray the system upgrades.
