Project Details: Killington’s wastewater spray pump station was replaced in 2019 to ensure reliable operation of the two spray fields used for wastewater disposal. The new pump station houses two pumps, a 25 HP and 100 Hp, and conveys treated water to two spray sites. The 100 Hp system operates at a rate of 640 gpm and pumps water to a disposal site 2.2 miles away.
The new pump station was designed to be constructed while the old pump station remained in operations. The pump station’s location adjacent to Mirror Lake required a temporary coffer dam and dewatering for construction of the intake wetwell.
