When Shearer Honda decided to abandon their onsite drilled well in favor of connection to the municipal system Enman Kesselring provided evaluation of connection options. With municipal water main running along the west side of Route 7 directional drilling would have been required to cross the five lanes of Route 7. Shearer made the decision to work with the Town of Rutland to extend a new 8″ municipal water main in the Route 7 ROW from Seward Road to Shearer’s property. This installation provides for future municipal water for other properties on the east side of Route 7.
